MS Word 2010 - Woordelijst woordenboekproblemen

Probleem: Kan geen woorden (eigen namen, afkortingen,…) in MS Word toevoegen aan de woordenlijst (woordenboek)

Oplossing: In the Spelling dialog, click at <Options> button. This will bring up the Word Options dialog. then click at <Custom Dictionaries> button
- Make sure that you have
CUSTOM.DIC checked

- If it is already checked, you can try to create a new Custom dictionary, by clicking at <New>.
Then make sure you have it checked before you close the “Custom Dictionaries” dialog.
making the language of the document and the language of the custom.dic file
The most common reason for being unable to add a word to the dictionary is that the dictionary is set to the wrong language, and in this case the “right” language is All Languages, so changing to US English was actually a step in the wrong direction.
Clearly,
Word knows that the dictionary exists and where it is, so the location is not an issue, and it seems to be working in other ways. What you might try is this:
1. Move the Custom.dic out of the UProof folder.
2. Use the Detect and Repair option (I think this may be called Diagnostic Tools in Word 2007); perhaps this will create a new Custom.dic. If it doesn’t, you can either rerun the install to re-add the Proofing Tools or create a new Custom.dic manually.
3. Test the new Custom.dic to see whether you can add words. If so, open the old Custom.dic with Notepad, select all the contents and Copy, then Paste into the new Custom.dic.
